The European Green Deal seeks to adapt the EU's climate, energy, transport and taxation policies to a reduction of 55 % of net greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030 compared to 1990 levels. on the energy efficiency of buildings1 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union and enters into force on 28 May 2024 (" revised directive on the energy efficiency of buildings ") 2.
