Raising awareness about climate change: The Climate-Friendly Everyday Practices Project

One  of the objectives of the European Year of Skills is to match people's aspirations and skills with opportunities in the labour market, especially in the green and digital transformation. In order to develop aspirations towards "green" and consequently skills, you first need points of contact with topics around climate change (see for example the book "Renewal of interest theory. The genesis of interest in adult education and other education "). Possible places to make this contact could be educational and learning spaces. For example, the Climate-Friendly Everyday Practices (klAP) project offered an educational space on the topic of climate change in Vienna's adult education centers. The aim of the project was to bring the topic of the environment and climate change closer to people with a migrant background through participatory methods. (Lucia Paar, editorial team/CONEDU)
