Climate change and its solution is a priority of the Union of Slovak Cities, it also appeals for the involvement of residents

Climate change and its solution from the position of local governments is one of the long-term priorities of the Union of Slovak Cities (ÚMS). At the online meeting, the ÚMS focused on how residents of Slovak cities perceive climate change, what influences their behavior and decision-making, or what motivates them to cooperate. The Union also organized an educational webinar for representatives of member cities Cities for the climate in 90 minutes, which focused on communicating climate policies in human language, with an appeal for residents to engage in solutions in their city. The guests were experts in the fields of environmental sociology, behavioral science and strategic communication. This was reported by the spokesperson of the ÚMS Daniela Piršelová in a press release. (Kristina Valovičová, SITA)
