This is how climate change adaptation on the farm can be successful

Droughts are the rule rather than the exception, temperatures are constantly rising, and rainfall is decreasing. Are you feeling the effects of climate change on your farm, but don't know how to deal with it? In the globally unique ClimGrass facility at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein in Irdning, expected future climate changes are simulated and their effects are investigated. Since 2011, researchers from home and abroad with various expertise have been successfully collaborating. Together with the University of Vienna, remarkable results on soil life and microbial growth have now been published for the first time in one of the most prestigious scientific journals, "Nature Communications". This is a great success for the researchers at Raumberg Gumpenstein, it is emphasized.
