An app that can help you track your carbon footprint – My Earth

As global warming gets worse every year, more people are becoming concerned about their impact on the environment and their personal carbon footprint, which is the total greenhouse gas emissions that a person emits. MyEarth was created by researchers and students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Human Ecology and tracks your energy use and savings. Nancy Wong, a professor of consumer science, created the app to make it easy to reduce your daily energy use. Designed with a diary format, users can choose daily activities to reduce their carbon emissions and energy use.
