The Climate Change Adaptation Mission aims to support EU regions, cities and local authorities in their efforts to build resilience to the impacts of climate change.

The mission contributes to putting the EU adaptation strategy into practice by helping regions

• better understand the climate risks they are and will face in the future
• develop their roads to be better prepared for and able to cope with a changing climate
• test and deploy on-site innovative solutions needed to build resilience

The mission aims to guide at least 150 European regions and communities towards climate resilience by 2030. (More on research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu)
