  • Activities and initiatives Key activities include a call for inspiring green learning events, curation of climate education topics, job offers and mentoring. The coalition has participated in various events such as the European Youth Week and the EPALE conference. An important part is also supporting the GreenComp community, which focuses on developing competences for a sustainable future.
  • Lesson summary It is important to build trust and experiment, actively engage stakeholders, synthesize knowledge, create action-oriented frameworks, and communicate transparently. Localizing and sharing good practices are key to building climate resilience.
  • Future outlook In 2025, the coalition will focus on teacher training, green competence development, youth engagement, greening schools and climate action through education groups. The transition to new leadership within the European Commission is also an important aspect.
