The CMA has published further guidance on how fashion retailers can comply with the Green Claims Code; a key set of rules that determine whether claims about the environmental impact of products or brands (known as green claims) breach UK consumer protection regulations. Much of the guidance broadly repeats existing guidance (see our previous article Snapshots for example), but with some useful fashion-focused features to help retailers understand exactly what works and what doesn’t in the industry.
