On July 25, 2024, the directive on due diligence on the sustainability of enterprises entered into force (directive 2024/1760). The aim of this directive is to promote sustainable and responsible corporate behavior within companies' operations and within their global value chains. The new rules will ensure that companies within their scope identify and address the adverse human rights and environmental impacts of their actions in Europe and beyond.
