The beef industry can cut emissions by up to 30 %, new research claims

Human-generated greenhouse gases have been the single largest driver of climate change since the mid-20th century—particularly from agriculture. The U.S. cattle industry alone is responsible for 3.3 % of the country’s total emissions, and despite greater commitments to reduce emissions among cattle industry partners and meaningful gains over the past 50 years, a highly complex supply chain remains a barrier.
