Environmental education for a sustainable future.

The perception of the environment has expanded in recent decades from the fight against pollution to the management of natural resources. The increase in world population from 1.5 billion at the beginning of the 20th century to more than eight billion today, together with a major shift in production and consumption patterns, has led to a doubling of demand for resources. It requires sound and balanced management along with fair distribution of natural resources to ensure that these billions of people get their basic needs. In parallel, the intensity and variety of pollution has increased with the spread of uncontrolled use of some toxic synthetic products, which not only harm human health, but also limit themselves.
