Climate change may already be here, but we can – and must – work ahead to map our impacts that are yet to come. Every organization will be affected by climate change in some way, either directly or indirectly. This can be caused by negative effects on employee health and safety, natural hazards threatening physical assets, supply chain issues, or even changes to the way a company operates. It is clear that climate should be a fundamental pillar of every company's risk processes, but these threats are not easy to understand or measure. It’s not just about looking at the weather – organizations need to consider secondary and tertiary impacts and put in place appropriate steps to mitigate the ever-changing risk.
