Starch glue or liquid glue?

For a responsible return to school, we recommend starch-based glue. In his white pots with an orange cap, we recognized its smell among all other glues; we all loved using this glue that made you want to eat it.

100% natural and mainly used for gluing wallpaper on walls, starch glue is an ecological glue made from wheat, rice, flour or corn, mixed with water. You can add bitter almond oil or preservatives to prevent bacteria and mold.

Watercolor or acrylic paint?

Tape concealer or liquid concealer?

The ribbon corrector appears to be the most ecological. A tape correction roller is more environmentally friendly because it is refillable and made mostly from recycled and sometimes recyclable materials, unlike a liquid correction roller which consists of potentially toxic and polluting liquid solvents.

Markers, pens, rollerballs: yes, but unscented!

According to the UFC, scented pens are a hundred times more toxic than markers. There are also allergens and preservatives in the inks, as children handle these products with their fingers.

Natural wooden pencil or varnished pencil?

Obviously, we couldn't advise you better than getting a natural wood pencil. In varnished pencils we find endocrine disruptors, phthalates in colored pencils or pencils. Children are therefore in contact with these substances when they chew the ends of pencils.

Notebooks and sheets with the European environmental mark or the Blue Angel label?

The German national brand "Blue Angel" is one of the most demanding, combining strict technical criteria with environmental requirements. The paper fibers come from 100% waste paper and the production process excludes some hazardous substances. The European Ecolabel was created to promote products and services with a reduced impact on the environment and supports the transition to a circular economy. Voluntary, represents the environmental excellence of products and services.

Unscented or scented modeling clay?

The unscented modeling clay is non-toxic and is made primarily from wheat flour and water. Just like the markers, the scented modeling clay also contains allergens and preservatives with which it is not recommended to handle our little darling.

And chewing gum, what shall we have?

The most responsible rubber would be free of phthalates, latex and fragrance. Some of these substances can have harmful effects on health if inhaled, ingested or in contact with the skin.

Erasable or permanent marker?

While dry-erase markers disappear with wear, permanent markers can be easily removed. Erasable markers have a range of products made in France (smaller carbon footprint during transport). They are generally less polluting and easier to erase than permanent markers, which are often made of indelible toxic substances.
