How can you individually contribute to reducing emissions without over-preparing? Last month, EPFL researchers launched Climpact , an interactive site that allows you to test your knowledge of the impact of everyday activities on the environment. Climpact is a quiz, online since May 23, launched by two EPFL researchers, Victor Kristof and Lucas Maystre. This interactive tool allows you to study how people perceive greenhouse gas emissions. By combining the answers with machine learning, Climpact assigns an absolute value of the carbon footprint to the users' answers. To date, the platform has collected more than 100,000 answers.
