Climate change and its consequences are considered the biggest challenges for young people, study shows Institute for Market and Public Opinion Research YouGov in Cologne together with market and social researcher Sinus Institute from Heidelberg. The data is based on an online survey based on YouGov Surveys, in which 2024 people participated between 27.06. and 06.07.2023. According to respondents aged 18 and over in Germany, the biggest of the 18 challenges that teenagers will face in the future is climate change and its consequences (44 percent). Older respondents think this more often than younger respondents (54 percent of people aged 60-69 vs. 39 percent of people aged 18-29). (Sinus Institute/YouGov)
