Popular personal climate actions include recycling, reducing plastic waste and buying more efficient appliances. More than 6 in 10 EU citizens say they have taken action to combat climate change in the last six months. This is according to a survey of 26,358 people from various social and demographic groups across the bloc. Conducted by the European Commission, it found that a large majority of Europeans – 93 percent – believe that climate change is a serious problem facing the world. (Rosie Frost)
