It is essential to address these issues and take proactive measures to ensure a sustainable future where AI and environmental protection can coexist. One of the main concerns is the carbon footprint of AI. The energy-intensive process of training and running AI models results in a staggering amount of greenhouse gas emissions. The demand for computing power to train cutting-edge AI models is increasing rapidly, doubling every 3.4 months since 2012.
