- ISO 14001 to 14015 are related to environmental management systems (EMS). The ISO 14001-15 group provides guidance on implementing and incorporating an EMS and how to assess physical locations and organizations. EMS performance evaluation is included in ISO 14031 .
- ISO 14050 serves as glossary for a family of 14000.
- Subgroup ISO 14020 covers environmental labels and claims . ISO 14063 broadens the spectrum and provides guidelines and examples for environmental communication , both internal and external.
- ISO 14040 to 14049 outlines guidelines for life cycle assessment and goal setting .
- Subfamily ISO 14060 provides guidance on quantification, reporting and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as well as the processes around them. This subfamily is very practical, from how to create corporate GHG inventory ( ISO 14064-1 ), up to how to create a product carbon footprint ( ISO 14067 ) and how to validate and verify GHG statements ( ISO 14064-3 ). ISO 14065 sets out requirements for validation and verification bodies and ISO 14066 defines competency requirements for GHG validation teams and verification teams.
