American software provider Carbon Direct on Tuesday announced its new SaaS-based end-to-end carbon management platform that facilitates the measurement, reduction and elimination of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Platform Carbon Direct is a comprehensive software tool that makes it easy for companies not only to set and track progress towards their climate goals, but also to report to partners, regulators and other stakeholders and manage their brand reputation. "Organizations are largely convinced that climate action is critically important, but most don't know how to evolve or get from a 30-year goal to a short-term action plan, let alone comply with new regulations or manage reputational risk," Jon Goldberg, general director and founder of Carbon Direct, said in a statement.
