IN The two-day session of the Bureau of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA 6) concluded today in Tangier, Morocco. The meeting discussed a draft ministerial declaration to help combat the climate crisis, biodiversity loss and pollution. The final text will be presented at the 6th session of the UN Environment Forum in early 2024 in Nairobi. Norbert Kurilla, Advisor to the President of the Slovak Republic for the Environment, Energy, Climate Change and the Business Environment, was elected as the new Vice-Chair of the UNEA 6 Committee. The Slovak delegation also included State Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment Katarína Butkovská.
