Summit on the New Global Financial Pact hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron last week in Paris, and the UN climate negotiations in Bonn earlier this month highlighted the unavoidable fact that there is a gaping hole in the financing needed to pay for climate action. If we are to have any chance of meeting the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C, we must dream big.
