CLIMAte – The CLIMAAX project aims to accelerate the design and implementation of risk management plans for climate change adaptation and emergency response across Europe. It will provide significant financial, analytical and practical support to regions and communities in developing and improving their climate risk assessments through a number of activities, including a standardised climate risk assessment framework, a toolkit of data, models and tools that link global open data repositories with local data and practices, five European pilot projects and financial support to carry out context-specific climate risk assessments, online guidance on climate risk assessment and a proposal for the dissemination of results.
