Environmental charities work hard every day to help save the planet. This is done by lobbying local and national governments as well as global organizations. Many can support businesses and others to improve their practices so that their investments and organizational practices help the planet. In On the front lines, these charities also participate in vital environmental work, including the development of scientific solutions to save the planet. They also raise funds and promote their work, as well as ensuring that it is rigorously evaluated to attract further funding and interest. However, they can't do it alone and need help with all aspects of their work, from marketing and strategic planning to technical support and tree planting, an army of thousands of qualified volunteers is needed.
