It can be overwhelming trying to live a more earth-conscious life, but there are small steps you can take to make a big difference. To wrap up the week, we asked three local environmental experts to share some tips on everyday habit changes we can all make to help reduce our carbon footprint.
1. Eat more plants and less meat.
"Switching to a more plant-based diet is the quickest and easiest to implement of the most effective things we can do," said Christian Wagley of Healthy Gulf. Meat consumption accounts for almost 60 % of all greenhouse gases from food production.
