Restoring open futures for climate adaptation

The narrative that certain areas will inevitably become uninhabitable due to rising sea levels is powerful, but it can silence an important discussion about alternative futures for climate adaptation. In particular, populations with low emissions and financing capacity should have their stories centralized in adaptation.
