In March 2021, MEPs adopted a resolution from the Legal Affairs Committee on corporate responsibility and due diligence. In the document, MEPs urge the Commission to prepare legislation that would oblige EU companies to ensure that their supply chains do not violate human rights, harm the environment or promote good governance.
