Global airline summit to address travel boom and climate goals

Airlines will be on the cusp of a faster-than-expected recovery and discuss ways to turn climate commitments into action at a summit boosted by a return to business as usual next week. The influential International Air Transport Association (IATA) holds its annual meeting June 4-6 with many of the 300 carriers enjoying higher post-pandemic fares, tempered only by aircraft shortages and weakening supply chains.
