Rich countries have pledged $100 billion a year to help reduce the effects of global warming. But Reuters has found that large sums are going to projects including a coal-fired power plant, a hotel and chocolate shops. ITALY  helped the retailer open chocolate and gelato stores across Asia. The United States offered a loan to expand a coastal hotel in Haiti. Belgium backed "La Tierra Roja," a love story set in the Argentine rainforest. And Japan is financing a new coal-fired power plant in Bangladesh and an airport expansion in Egypt.
