A group of 15 MPs and senators have written to the federal environment minister, calling on the Albanian government to end the logging of native forests, as pressure to do so grows within Labour. All seven Green independents, including Monique Ryan and Allegra Spender, have been challenged by Greens MP Andrew Wilkie and influential senator David Pocock Tanya Pliberseková , to end the logging of native forests in New South Wales and Tasmania as part of upcoming environmental law reform.
