Global warming will exacerbate conflicts, hunger and migration around the world, with increasing risks for Europe. According to a groundbreaking report by the German government, global warming poses an existential threat to the European Union.
Germany's Federal Intelligence Service (BND) has teamed up with researchers and the country's Foreign Ministry to produce a first-of-its-kind assessment of the dangers climate change poses to German and European security over the next 15 years.
A report released on Wednesday shows , that the destabilizing effects of climate change will drive migration and food prices, threatening economic and political upheaval in Europe.
