Despite ongoing challenges, there is unwavering legislative pressure on environmental, social and corporate (ESG) aspects. Surprisingly, the European regulator is taking the lead in creating new regulations, as deadlines for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, achieving energy efficiency thresholds and other sustainable development goals approach.
