Synergies arise when the maintenance of forest structures that support recognized human needs for biomass production ensures the creation of diverse habitats. Nowadays, the diverse ownership structure has caused diverse land use, which leads to the occurrence of different types of forests side by side. If we want to talk about the protection of biodiversity, it is necessary to benefit from sensitive protection planning, adapted to local and regional conditions. Effective strategies must include land-use planning based on input from multiple stakeholders in a given country.
