The environment is the world in which we live. Taking care of the earth is in our hands, we must not be influenced by the bad news we keep hearing, we have learned that it is called ecological anxiety , instead we must roll up our sleeves and help. Each of our small gestures is amplified and creates a greater benefit for the environment. We will never be perfect and we will never be able to produce any pollution, but every little attention given to the environment combined with everyone working in the same direction makes a difference. We young people must not despair about climate change. We must not allow this problem to combine with the worry about the future that we already feel as a teenager, otherwise we could have problems with panic attacks and insomnia and feelings of anxiety could cause anxiety and depression. For example, a walk in the park or along a tree-lined avenue in the city already helps to relieve anxiety and restore a healthy contact with oneself. We must respond with perhaps small but effective strategies: using a water bottle, walking, cycling or public transport and rationalizing meat consumption. (Andrea Borasio)
