The Global South Climate Database is a publicly available, searchable database of scientists and experts in climate science, policy, and energy. The aim of the project, created by Carbon Brief with the support of Oxford Climate Journalism Network The Reuters Institute's mission is to ensure that journalists from around the world can contact climate experts from Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean and the Pacific. The database lists each person's area of expertise, institutional affiliation, contact details, and other relevant information. The experts cover many different languages from around the world, but all also speak English. Using the search bar, you can filter by research expertise, nationality, institution, pronouns, etc.
