Do we all have to change our behavior for the climate?

In the midst of the climate crisis, many people are asking themselves: How much can I as an individual contribute to climate protection? Some say: it makes little difference to the overall picture whether I personally eat less meat or drive less often. Others are consciously questioning their behavior in many areas: they are avoiding vacation flights, cycling and eating vegan. But how can the necessary social change succeed in the climate crisis? Sociologist Anita Engels is looking into this question. She is a professor at the University of Hamburg and spokesperson for the Cluster of Excellence "Climate, Climate Change and Society". NDR Info spoke to her in "Mission Climate - Solutions for the Crisis" podcast .
