As you’ve probably heard, climate change and global temperatures are on the rise. Our carbon sinks, like Canada’s forests, are burning, and it’s no time to sit back. Human-caused temperature change from burning fossil fuels is warming the planet at an alarming rate. The latest IPCC report declared that the expected increase in global temperatures will be 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Every decade since 1880, temperatures have increased by 0.08°C. These catastrophic measurements are only getting worse and could be reflected in society’s carbon footprint. (Danielle Meyers)
