Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations, Inc. has launched a carbon calculator that simplifies and adds certainty to the task of estimating potential Scope 3 emissions.

This tool contains calculations for 29 categories of e-waste, which include both whole units and components. The calculator automatically tracks actual material as it is received and processed, refreshing daily to ensure the most up-to-date calculations available through the customer portal. The net output is real-time reporting of Potentially Eliminated Emissions at Scope 3, which customers can view as a graphical representation of Potentially Eliminated Emissions by time period, commodity type, processing type, and raw material outputs. The carbon calculator is based on the United Nations e-waste recycling methodology (CDM) and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol and is verified by Morningstar  Sustainalytics to provide even greater assurance of accurate and high-quality data outputs for ESG reporting.
