Swiss voters on Sunday voted to pass a new climate change law that, if passed, will reduce the country's dependence on imported oil and gas. Projections by the GFS Bern institute and published by public broadcaster SRF showed that 58.3 percent of voters approved the law. According to the SRF, the deviation was plus or minus 2 percentage points. "The supporters have reason to be happy," Urs Bieri of the GFS Bern institute told SRF.
