Climate change conference in Bonn to pave the way for a course correction at COP28

This year's Bonn Climate Change Conference (SB58) begins next Monday, June 5, to prepare decisions for adoption at COP28 in the United Arab Emirates in December. Based on the many mandates that emerged from COP27 in Egypt last year, the conference will convene the 58th. session  UNFCCC subsidiary bodies, including a large number of events, and will continue discussions on issues of critical importance. These issues include, but are not limited to, the Global Inventory, the Global Adaptation Goal, the Just Transition to Sustainable Societies, the Work Program for Mitigation and Loss and Damage.
