At the end of March, Marius Pedersen took delivery of four modern and environmentally friendly waste collection vehicles from Volvo Group Slovakia. Thanks to their gas-powered operation, these vehicles do not pollute the environment with unnecessary emissions, and their reduced noise level makes them ideal for use in cities and towns. Waste collection is one of the basic services used by cities and towns. Although the Marius Pedersen Group normally uses modern waste collection trucks (Euro 6 class) rather than old diesel garbage trucks that are noisy and produce exhaust fumes that pollute the air, with the Volvo FE 6×2 R Euro 6 CNG model, Marius Pedersen can now offer Slovak cities and towns vehicles with a significantly lower environmental impact that are efficient, powerful, safe and less noisy. „"The pressure to protect the environment, the constant development of technology and innovation also concern us. We are actively looking for solutions that are not only viable, but also beneficial to society and the environment. Therefore, we consider these four new vehicles as our next step in our joint efforts with cities and municipalities in the field of environmental protection,"“ said Oliver Šujan, CEO of Marius Pedersen.
