{"id":8949,"date":"2023-12-03T12:40:14","date_gmt":"2023-12-03T11:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.co2news.sk\/?p=8949"},"modified":"2023-12-03T12:40:14","modified_gmt":"2023-12-03T11:40:14","slug":"aspher-organizes-the-european-climate-and-health-responder-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.co2news.sk\/en\/2023\/12\/03\/aspher-organizes-the-european-climate-and-health-responder-course\/","title":{"rendered":"ASPHER organizes the European Climate and Health Responder Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The course, organised by the Association of Schools of Public Health in Europe (ASPHER) in collaboration with Columbia University, aims to be a flagship initiative to engage and educate public health and the wider health workforce on climate and health, enabling them to participate and engage in policy and advocacy related to climate change adaptation and mitigation, as well as in research that supports decision-making across sectors. <span>The course will run for 10 consecutive weeks, with a weekly live virtual session taking place every Tuesday between 12:00 and 1:30 p.m. Each session includes a 45-50 minute lecture followed by a Q&amp;A and case studies. Participants who attend regularly and pass a test will receive a Climate and Health Certificate from ASPHER\/GCCHE. The course covers the following topics:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>6.
