Deputies emphasize that the first\u00a0<\/span><span>global assessment<\/span><span> under the Paris Agreement, which will take place during COP28, is a key moment to strengthen collective ambitions for climate action and support. The resolution calls on developed countries, including the EU and its member states, to ensure that the annual climate finance target of US$100 billion is met by 2023 and to work towards a post-2025 target that would exceed this amount.
