Among those present were members of the Partnership for Transport Projects and representatives\u00a0<\/span><span>programs of technological cooperation<\/span><span> relevant to the topic.\u00a0<\/span><span>Low-emission fuels are widely recognized as the primary technology option needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the international maritime and aviation sectors. These long-haul transport sectors require high-energy-density fuels, which means that direct electrification will \u2013 from today&#039;s perspective \u2013 likely be limited to short-haul and smaller vessels and aircraft.
