University, Japan and published in the academic journal\u00a0<\/span><em><span>Environmental Research Letters<\/span><\/em><span>\u00a0IOP Publishing. The results show that the financial benefits of climate change mitigation are often similar to the costs of mitigation. The research team estimates the cost of additional mitigation measures at between US$45 and US$130 trillion, with the financial benefits of these mitigation efforts ranging from US$23 to US$145 trillion.
