The share has even increased in recent years instead of decreasing. The revolution in mobility must not wait any longer, it is high time to phase out internal combustion engines and more offers of sharing, safe sidewalks and cycle paths and expanded local public transport.<\/p>\n<p>But even now everyone can contribute to climate protection and reach the goal without emissions. If you cycle 5 kilometers to work, you save around 310 kilograms of CO2 per year. Especially for short distances in the city, for example to the bakery, it is often faster to go by bike or on foot than by car. A cargo bike is recommended for bulk purchases. Longer distances in the city or in the countryside can easily be covered with an e-bike or a rental car, there are plenty of sharing offers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reduce your carbon footprint<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are many ways to reduce your carbon footprint through transportation. Here are some tips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ride a bike or walk short distances.<\/li>\n<li>Travel by public transport or shared car.<\/li>\n<li>Buy an electric car or a hybrid.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce the number of trips you make.<\/li>\n<li>Travel more responsibly when you drive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Change is possible<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A change in mobility is possible.
