Plans for decarbonisation are proliferating around the world, including in India. First came the plan to electrify vehicles, before electricity supply standards reached the international reliability level of 0.999. Another goal is to have 50 percent of electricity supply from non-fossil fuels (NFF) (hydro, nuclear, solar, wind and biomass) by 2030.
