This part of the report focuses on<!--more--> <strong>climate impacts, adaptation and vulnerability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To be able to participate in commenting, <strong>you don&#039;t have to be a professional climatologist<\/strong>. Each draft IPCC report undergoes thorough peer review before being finalized, and anyone with the <strong>relevant scientific, technical or practical expertise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>How does the review process work?<\/h5>\n<p>Comments are submitted in <strong>English language<\/strong>, bear your name and will be published along with the authors&#039; responses after the official release of the report.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>Preparatory online workshop for new reviewers<\/h5>\n<p>For those interested who have no previous experience reviewing IPCC reports, a follow-up session will be held. <strong>online workshop<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date and time:<\/strong> November 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM GMT<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organizers:<\/strong> <em>The Sustainability and Resilience Institute<\/em> a <em>African Climate Platform<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Moderators:<\/strong> Joyce Kimutai, PhD, Dina Lupin and Dzimbabwe Chimbga<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What is the workshop focused on?<\/strong> The aim is to include in the IPCC assessment knowledge from areas that are less frequently represented in the reports:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Civil society, community organizations and practitioners<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Indigenous and local knowledge holders<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Climate disputes, social sciences, humanities and arts<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants from are especially welcome. <strong>Africa and Small Island Developing States<\/strong>.
