But even at that threshold - which could begin to be crossed within the next five years - millions of people will still face &quot;significant harm&quot;, including death, displacement and food and water shortages, an international panel of researchers said on Wednesday. In a study published in the journal Nature, a panel of more than a dozen researchers integrated environmental justice\u2014the idea that climate thresholds should minimize significant harm\u2014with climate science.
