Two high-precision digital twins of the Earth are to be developed to monitor and simulate natural and human activities and to develop and test scenarios that would enable more sustainable development and support European green transition policies. Adaptation plays a key role in this, as one of the digital twins will be dedicated to climate change adaptation.
