Stories help <strong>to bridge the gap between science and society<\/strong> by combining complex information with human and understandable elements.<\/p>\n<p>Climate stories are <strong>most effective as a tool for communicating messages, knowledge, or information in a way that transforms or influences the listener.<\/strong> They can deepen understanding, change perspectives, or evoke emotional responses. However, they are not suitable for communicating detailed information, large data sets, or complex instructions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The guide presents three interconnected development cycles for creating a climate story:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cycle 1 \u2013 Planning:<\/strong> Determining the story&#039;s purpose, main idea, identifying the audience, and finding the best way to connect with them and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cycle 2 \u2013 Proposal:<\/strong> Creating a storyboard that includes the plot line, visual style, characters, and mood of the story.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cycle 3 \u2013 Creation:<\/strong> Content production (media, graphics, data) and transformation of the story into a final product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>An important part of the creation process is interaction with stakeholders.<\/strong> Engaging individuals or organizations with an interest in the story allows them to contribute ideas, concepts, products, or solutions, leading to local engagement and support for the story.<\/p>\n<p>The guide emphasizes the importance <strong>understanding the reason and motivation for creating a climate story<\/strong> and emphasizes <strong>choosing the right medium<\/strong> for story presentation.<\/p>\n<p>The final part is devoted to <strong>spreading the climate story and measuring its impact.<\/strong> An engaging media campaign targeting specific audiences and strategies for launching the story are recommended.
